A manufacturing company are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Role and Responsibilities
- Supervising a team of Production Operators ensuring that they are working efficiently, safely and in line with necessary targets.
- Health and safety of staff including risk assessments and accident investigations.
- Quality performance working towards zero defect target by proactive quality measures and root cause analysis.
- Management of staff and personal issues including disciplines, grievances, sickness absence, appraisals, and maintenance of holiday systems.
- Production performance optimising output by efficiency improvement activities and staff performance management
Knowledge and Experience
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Proven team leadership or management experience ideally within an automated setting
- Must be a natural leader
- Good organisational skills
- The ability to manage busy workload and meet deadlines
- Able to multitask
- Experience of Continuous Improvement
