Production Supervisor

A exciting  opportunity has arisen for Production Supervisor for a successful company based in Hungerford. Doves Farm Foods are expanding specialist flour millers, breakfast cereal producers and bakers.

Job Purpose

- To lead and manage a production team to maximize the efficiency of the production department focusing on completing the scheduled plan quality, hygiene, and cost productivity.

This position is a hands on supervisory role.

Working pattern  6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm on 4 weekly rotation

Key Responsibilities-

* To take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management, production and staff.

* Monitor, measure and report on production related performance.

* Manage, develop and motivate staff.

* To take full responsibility of the quality and the manufactured product.

* To liaise with other managers and supervisors and ensure all information is relayed.

The successful candidate may have -

- City & Guilds/NVQ /HND/Degree

Institute of Leadership Management desirable

Experience -

- Good knowledge of manufacturing - Food or FMCG production background

- Proven delivery of continuous improvement

- Knowledge of health and safety/food safety

- Experience of grain /flour/cereal based foods desirable
