SalaryMy client is looking to recruit a Production Support Technician, to join their manufacturing business located in Melksham.
They design and develop electronic products to a variety of industries, and due to a busy order book for 2024 they are looking to recruit this position to support the production team with pre-assembly duties.
The main responsibilities within the role of Production Support Technician will be:
- Carry out all pre-assembly activity as requested by the Production Manager and Production Schedule Manager.
- Communicate effectively with the Production and Stores team to make sure parts are available and delivered on time in preparation for unit assembly.
The role will require working a day shift pattern Monday to Friday. They are able to offer some flexibility in regard to start/finish times for the roles.
Candidate skills/experience required:
- Demonstrable working experience in a similar role.
- Able to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
