This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our Production System Support team, you'll have 9 direct reports, wide exposure across the Octopus Group and be responsible for driving innovation within the systems we look after.

The team:

Octopus Labs is the tech division of Octopus group. Working in our Labs team means you will be building and innovating tech solutions for a group of businesses that are genuinely improving the world around us.

What you'll be doing:

• Collaborating with relevant application system owners to improve support & communication
• Leading & People Management of a small team
• Senior Stakeholder engagement throughout the Octopus group
• Working closely with the Product team to make sure end users of systems are being properly considered when changes are being made
• Managing a 3rd line support team
• Applications & Systems acceptance into production support
• Working with Engineering & Product teams on technology roadmaps
• Monitoring of system endpoints & uptime to ensure an exceptional customer experience

✅ People Management and career development experience

✅ Service Delivery experience in an Enterprise environment - experience of working alongside agile delivery teams

✅ Technical documentation creation experience

✅ Basic understanding of Azure environments and technical principles such as APIs, and messaging

✅ ITIL framework & ITSM experience

✅ Experience of incident management

✅ Thorough understanding of Product & Software lifecycle

✅ Experience managing third line technical support teams
