. Job Description
We’re currently looking for a Production Team Leader on double days, 0600-1400 and 1400-2000 shifts, across Monday to Friday at our Spennymor, Durham Plant. You’ll be leading a small team, including operatives and process leaders. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on leader, who’s keen to learn and motivate others!
You’ll receive a generous salary, shift allowance, a 10% annual bonus, 25 days holiday, 7.5% pension and overtime opportunities.
CHEP is a people focused business, so if you have good communicator with solid admin skills and staff engagement – progression is always there.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, develop, and coach employees
- Hold daily briefs and report KPI’s
- Investigation of incidents
- Drive a zero-harm culture within the shift and take the initiative to keep everyone safe on shift
- Assist in monitoring of employee’s sickness and holidays
What you’ll need
- Experience in a managerial role within operations, logistics, manufacturing or production
- A positive attitude and ability to motivate and lead others
- Experience working with Microsoft office
- Strong communication and coaching skills
