Production Team Leader

Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Team Leader based in Bedford for a reputable professional organisation.

Summary of theProduction Team Leader role…

Salary: circa £36,500 per annum
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 4 on 4 off, rotational days and nights.

The role…

As the Production Team Leader your role will involve the following important duties:

• Set up and diagnose plant machinery to run at its maximum efficiency.
• Diagnose and report/rectify process faults. 
• Work to weekly/daily production targets.
• Lead the Production Team.
• Monitor and make sure production targets are met and that operatives are running their plants efficiently and safely.
• Ensure area is audit ready and legal requirements are met.

The experience required…

As a successful Production Team Leader you will have the following:

• Experience in a similar role previously and within the food industry.
• Food related qualification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience managing people with excellent leadership skills.
• Good communication skills.
