AddressFrontline Recruitment Weymouth are seeking for a Production Team Leader to join our client in Weymouth.
As a Production Team Leader you will be responsible for a section of our manufacturing team, typically 8-14 direct reports; to lead and drive the team to ensure efficient and effective manufacture of our client products and accessories. With focus on manufacturing output and quality, the Production Team Leader, will support our client improvement activities and focus on key metrics.
Key Tasks:
Day to day supervision of the Production Team approving and processing leave applications, approving time sheets, conducting staff appraisals, training, delivering team briefs, carrying out return to work interviews, disciplinary action, etc.
Organising tasks and supervising staff within the section to meet production targets.
Maintaining a team skills matrix and identifying training requirements
Implementing new initiatives and optimizing current processes to reduce waste/rejects and establish best practice manufacturing techniques – in conjunction with our Manufacturing Technician
Achieving key performance indicators (KPls) for manufacturing right first time and standard build times per product.
Communication with production planners and other key stakeholders
Monitor and ensure team compliance with Company procedures such as Electrostatic Damage (ESD), Health and Safety, Work Instructions, etc.
Identify and manage Risk Assessments for production working practices.
Deputise and cover for other Production Team Leaders during their absence.
Input into our Production Team plan that establishes available capacity.
Performance of specific processes/tasks as directed by management towards the accomplishment of the above.

Monday to Wednesday 07.00 – 17.00, Thursday 07.00 – 16.45
