Production Technician

Production Technician/ Beccles/ Competitive salary depending on the experience

Position 1 Recruitment are looking for Production Technician to join our client, manufacturing site based in Beccles. Our client is a reputable producer of a bespoke product, due to the ongoing growth, they are looking for an experienced Production Technician to join their team.

Production Technician role is to support the Shift Supervisor to ensure planned / unplanned work is carried out effectively, efficiently and to the Company and Customer standards at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• QC check is completed on machines or at your supervisor s request accurately.
• Ensure all production checks & documentation are completed.
• Report to your Supervisor when any machines are stopped for any reason other than tool changes. Report all machine faults if they cannot be cured or are affecting production.
• Ensure that tool changes, colour changes etc., are carried out in accordance with the training procedure as laid down by the Manager/Technical supervisor or relevant work instructions.
• All check/log sheets and pallet labels should be filled out clearly and correctly with all relevant information.
• Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with current legislation and company procedures.

Production Technician will haveexperience in Technical, e.g. Motor Mechanic or similar, ideally within manufacturing environments. Ability to work on own initiative to achieve objectives and taking responsibility for work/action undertaken. Tool change or have a level 2 in Engineering.

The successful candidate will have proven similar experience.

This is a full-time, permanent position Monday to Friday - 3 shifts on a rotating basis (phone number removed) and 2-10)
