Production Workshop Technician

PRODUCTION WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN

This thriving and ambitious business is looking for a workshop based Production Technician to join their busy established team in Ashby De La Zouch.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the picking and assembling of fluid dosing systems to both new and existing clients. In return you will receive a basic salary of £25K and company bonus scheme + pension + 20 Hols + Stats + a fantastic working environment.

The successful candidate will be experienced in a Production Workshop environment with an engineering proficiency (Hand tools) and a basic understanding of mechanical assembly and wiring.

Job Description
Working within an established team, you will look to provide technical expertise to the production of fluid dosing systems, picking and assembling components for both new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Picking components for customer orders
• Maintaining the stores
• Mechanical assembly from engineering drawings
• Proficient use of hand tools
• Basic wiring from engineering drawings
• Operating within the company QMS
• Operating the warehouse order system

Essential Skills/Qualifications

• Engineering qualification/background/knowledge
• Knowledge of basic engineering drawings
• A keen eye for detail
• A confident communicator

Desirable Skills

• Understanding of fluid handling/pumps/dosing systems
• Experience with mainstream software programs
• Articulate, self-motivated, dynamic and organised
