SalaryAbsolute Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production/Logistics Administration Assistant on behalf of our clients based in Redditch.
The Production/Logistics Administration Assistant will be reporting to seniors and be responsible for making process improvements to streamline business processes. This is a varied role covering administrative duties in varies departments.
This is an office-based position working days are Monday to Friday working the hours of 9am-5pm (some flexibility can be discussed dependent upon circumstances) with a 1-hour daily lunch break.
The salary is between 30,000pa - 35,000pa experience dependent.
Duties and responsibilities include;
- Production planning
- Logistics planning
- Administration of storage divisions
- Procurement (including outsourcing)
- Assisting HR (for weekly paid employees)
- Assisting with Health & Safety department
- Assisting with Quality Assurance
- Assisting Fleet Management
- Supporting the Projects Team
- Assisting the Accounts department
- Dealing with Hotels and Flights bookings
Experience and Skills;
- Previous experience working within a SME
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deal with a wide range of people
- Organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Computer literate
- An enthusiasm for working in a small team but the ability to work independently and use own initiative to prioritise tasks
- Potential to make changes, improve processes and make a difference within the business
