Production/Supply Chain Scheduler

An opportunity to work for this global market-leading commercial organisation with offices in Peterborough. Hybrid working patterns are available with the need to be in the office 2-3 days per week. Reporting into the Supply Chain Director, this role will be responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules on a pan-European basis.
This important role will help drive improvements across the manufacturing and production process through more effective schedule management. Key areas of focus will include: creating schedules; utilising resources in the most effective manner; identify problems and help improve processes; closely monitor manufacturing performance and adjust schedules in response to failures or supply shortages; and the preparation of reports outlining production activities and effectiveness.
To succeed in this role you will have demonstrable scheduling/planning experience in a manufacturing or related sector. With excellent communication skills, you will be highly numerate and have strong problem-solving skills. With strong Excel skills, you will be highly organised and have a self-motivated approach to your work. Initially available on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of a permanent appointment.
