Professional Advisor - Lambeth Safeguarding Children's Partnership (LSCP)

PO8: £63,582 rising in annual increments to £68,136 pa LW

We are looking for a Professional Advisor to manage our Lambeth’s Safeguarding Partnership Business Unit and play a key role in the delivery of its statutory function in scrutinising the role of the partnership in promoting the safety of children in Lambeth. You’ll oversee and manage the operational delivery of the LSCP, its Executive and its subgroups. In doing so you will sup-port the Safeguarding Partners and Relevant Agencies in their safeguarding duties in acting as a strategic leadership group and implementing local and national learning as defined in Working Together 2023.

You will lead on new developments for the LSCP and work effectively with newly appointed Lambeth Independent Safeguarding Children and Young People’s Commissioner of the LSCP to monitor and review the progress of the Partnership and its impact upon outcomes for children. This role sits within Children’s Social Care Quality Assurance Service, and you will directly manage a Training Manager, Senior Project Officer and report to the Direc-tor/Acting Director of Quality Assurance. You will be responsible for overseeing a budget. 
You will have the experience and skills to work alongside our multi-agency partnership to drive our strategic vision forward whilst being relational, innovative and creative in your approach.

You must also have;

  • Budget management experience
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Project management skills
  • The ability to engage and communicate with children, families, practitioners, strategic leaders, elected        members and members of the public.
  • Ability to gather and analyse data that drives improvement.
  • Proven report writing ability.
