Summary Description
CSR is currently working alongside a large leading company in Antim with the aim to recruit a professional Quantity Surveyor to aid them with their new, exciting projects.
CSR are looking for an industry professional capable of being responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.
Challenging themselves with minimising the cost of a project and making the project more efficient, enhancing the value for money. In parallel, our candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project has met all legal and quality requirements and regulations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Prepare contract documents - e.g. bills of quantities with the client or architect
- Estimate materials, time and labour costs for the project
- Negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contracts
- Coordinate work effort
- Manage Risk, Value and Cost Control
- Allocate work to Sub-Contractors
- Analyse potential and actual outcomes, producing detailed progress reports
- Value the finished product and arrange payments
- Implement Health and Safety Regulations

Qualifications
You'll need a degree or professional qualification accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
