Job Description
Global Insurance syndicate is looking to hire a Programme Manager to focus on their Cloud Strategy and Delivery. This is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) paying between £90K - £105K. You will be responsible for leading and covering all aspects of my client’s Cloud Strategy Programme.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the implementation of cloud-based initiatives within the organisation
- Ensure that all aspects of the programme comply with the appropriate government models, business process transformations and IT Solution Design
- Manage resource allocation across the programme to align to approved budget
- Manage relationships with Cloud service providers
- Manage risk and issues
- Understand and apply Agile delivery methodology
- Provide regular project progress and status reports to stakeholders
Skills and Experience include:
- Project Management qualifications / certifications – PRINCE 2, APM, PMI
- Strong project managements skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven Programme Management experience of successful delivery on high-profile / strategic projects in a cloud computing environment
- Solid knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms – AWS, VMware, Azure
- Experience of Business Transformation and Change Management Projects
- Budgetary / Resource Management and Forecasting
- Enterprise and Solution Architecture
- Security Programme – Web Security
- Infrastructure / Networking Technologies – Cloud Computing
