Programme Analyst

 

Salary & Benefits (4b): £32,827 - £41,033 depending on experience + pension + annual bonus + retail savings schemes + online GP access + life assurance cover + free on-site parking + 25 days holiday + 1 wellbeing day + bank holidays 

 

Location: Buttershaw, Bradford - hybrid working 1 day in the office per week

 

Work type: Permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Analyst to join the Programme Delivery team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

The Programme Delivery team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.  

Working within our Programme Management Office (PMO) you will contribute to the successful and timely delivery of projects through the provision of informative and targeted management information and analysis. 

 

The Programme Analyst is responsible for communicating and proactively monitoring performance across a billion-pound construction programme. As such they will require a keen eye for detail and be adept at consolidating large volumes of data into insightful analysis and reporting.

 

 

Where you fit in: 

As a Programme Analystyou will; 

  • Analyse and evaluate programme performance across a range of metrics: cost, time, quality (What is the data telling us?).
  • Develop and seek to continuously improve existing reporting, ensuring that all stakeholder requirements are met.
  • Production and automation of Programme KPIs.
  • Responsibility for data validation and identification of any areas requiring action or improvement.
  • Driving and monitoring governance standards across the programme.
  • The escalation of non-compliance with company governance, data management and approvals processes.
  • The provision of ad-hoc analytical support as required.

 

 

What skills & qualifications you will need: 

 

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or relevant experience.
  • You must be highly proficient in Office applications including Power BI. Advanced Excel skills are a must.
  • Experience of compiling, assessing and communicating complex data.
  • An ability to present complex information in a straightforward manner to colleagues across all levels of the organisation.
  • Able to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to challenge and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of supporting and embedding change, able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours.
  • An aptitude and desire to learn new competencies and skills. Not afraid to ask questions.

 

You will also benefit from having: 

 

  • Experience of using schedule software such as P6 or MS Project.
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment.
  • Experience of programme and project management/administration, working within a structured project management framework.
  • Exposure to the end to end project lifecycle or of managing substantial parts of the project lifecycle.

 

We embrace a flexible working model, where our hybrid setup typically requires an average of one in the office per week. This could be slightly more when collaborative efforts, training or meeting deadlines demand it. For those who prefer to work on-site, our office is open Monday-Friday during working hours.
