Job description

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £66,678+ dependent on skills and experience with an added executive car allowance on top

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning and coordinating all of the assurance activities (Technical including product quality and safety, Delivery Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality, Schedule and Cost)
  • Managing the assurance perspectives of internal and external programme stakeholders, ensuring they are joined in one plan that combines assurance interventions to minimise the impact on delivery and drive the most value
  • Tracking the closure of any recommendations from assurance activities and ensure that they have the anticipated impact on the overall programme
  • Managing the assurance outcomes to identify any systemic themes across internal and external programme stakeholders, including government departments
  • Liaising with the assurance leads in other programmes to ensure the promulgation of learning and good practice

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience in Planning and provision of assurance in a delivery focused programme or project environment
  • Experience of working across different functions, grades and businesses
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are needed
  • Good stakeholder management and collaboration skills will be required
  • Experience working within an integrated environment
  • Delivering management experience would be beneficial

The Joint Project Management Office team: 

This position will provide a fantastic opportunity to work on multibillion pound long term complex programme.  You’ll be working with stakeholders across various organisations and leading teams comprised of individuals from multiple organisations.
