We are proud to be supporting a large public sector organisation in Birmingham City Centre, who develops and progresses transport projects which will provide the biggest possible environmental, economic and social benefits for the Midlands and the rest of the UK. We are recruiting for a Programme Coordinator on a full-time temporary basis.
Your new role
This role will be supporting and coordinating a transport project, you will manage the day-to-day planning, coordination and implementation/completion of critical activities for the programme, projects and delivery team. You will be responsible for ensuring the programme operates adequately in support for the programme lead, managing key correspondence contributing to the planning and completion of critical path milestones, lead the coordination of actions/activities to complete approvals/assurance/governance and stakeholder communications on behalf of the team.
You will work closely with the Programme Lead ensuring dependent resources (internal and external stakeholders in programme, project and delivery teams) stay informed, are enabled to act in service of the core programme, to time, quality and budget.What you\'ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate your experience within a similar coordinating role or have experience in coordinating projects, be self motivated and to work on your own initiative, able to coordinate and delegate, as well as experience with reviewing and keeping to budgets. We are also looking for someone with strong communication skills and excellent IT skills and knowledge with Microsoft packages.
What you\'ll get in return
This is a full-time temporary position, with the possibility of an extension, 36.5 hours per week. This role is offering £13-15 per hour and will be paid on a weekly basis.
