In the role of Programme Lead for Hair and Beauty, you’ll predominantly be based at Pioneer Higher Skills Centre and your focus will be leading on specific outcomes in the Hair and Beauty Department to improve the student experience, teaching on one or more of our study programmes and to support the Curriculum Area Manager with a series of tasks. Your key responsibilities will be teaching 550 hours over the year, co-ordination and leading on all delivery programmes within our curriculum area, supporting our team members and leading on retention, achievement and progression of all learners. Ideally, you’ll have a L3 (or higher) qualification in either Hair, Beauty or Barbering, a L5 teaching qualification and demonstrable experience. It’s important that you’re able to lead and inspire others through change, communicate effectively, use innovation within course delivery and engage with young people and adults. You will be expected to demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
