itsu [grocery] are hiring: Programme Manager
itsu is a crusading, dynamic, & fast-growing chain of Asian-inspired healthy food shops. itsu [grocery], brings the itsu vision into retail/wholesale worldwide.
itsu [grocery] is looking for a Programme Manager to join its procurement team. They will work closely with the product development and supply chain teams on the launch management of our strong innovation pipeline. They should be organised, driven and have a strong understanding of commercials.
responsibilities
- Support the Product Development team in sourcing ingredients required for their innovation pipeline, accurately costing NPD, and assisting with critical path management
- Manage and negotiate the commercial terms for new products developed, and from the new suppliers we source from
- Delivery of multiple cross-functional workstreams, ensuring deadlines are met and that overall supply chain impact of differing projects are considered holistically
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure product updates and changes are being considered in a timely manner and the correct people informed.
- Maintaining the COGS model, keeping product master data updated with NPD and EPD changes
- Manage the launch process subsequent to product development being completed, ensuring purchase orders are raised on time, the demand forecast is correct and retailer range reviews considered

- Excellent commercial acumen with demonstrable procurement skills
- Strong organisational skill
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively as part of a team, building solid internal and external relationships
- Understanding of supply chain principles, particularly international sourcing and incoterms is preferred
- At least 5 years previous experience in a Procurement or Supply Chain role
- The drive and self-motivation to work within a rapidly growing business that is constantly evolving with changing priorities
- Pro-active, identifying issues as or before they arise
- An open-minded approach to the role and a flexible, can do, friendly attitude. Our business is constantly changing!
