Job Title: Programme Manager

Location: Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich, IP1 2BX (Hybrid role)

Trust Location: Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust

About the Trust

We provide mental health and learning disability care for people across Norfolk and Suffolk. We support a population of just over 1.6 million people and employ more than 4,700 staff. Our biggest bases are at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich, Wedgwood House, Bury St Edmunds and Woodlands Unit in Ipswich but our staff are based in more than 50 locations.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Assist in the design and delivery of improvement
  • Have a practical hands-on approach to implementation of project standards/ best
  • Ensure that outputs and benefits defined within the overall Programme and Project scope are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standard of
  • Help in the development of Project / Programme business cases, clearly demonstrating costs and benefits realisation of the proposed schedule of
  • Develop, mobilise and review project delivery plans as directed.
  • Hold administrative duties such as the creation of project workbooks, project risk management, milestone and KPI development and routine project
  • Act as a source of independent expertise and

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
  • Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Leadership/ management experience
  • Project Management qualification such as Prince2, MSP and/or Agile
  • Experience of project managing significant schemes in a health care
  • Specific experience of working in mental health services
  • Excellent organisational skills and expertise in managing projects involving multi- disciplinary stakeholders/groups and the ability to deliver project objectives within tight
