The Role
As Programme Planner, you'll join an exciting and complex programme of work covering technology, systems, and business change. You'll be responsible for:
- developing and maintaining quality programme and project plans (milestones, dependencies etc.)
- work closely with programme and project managers, tracking delivery against plan (reporting on and resolving any potential deviations / exceptions etc.)
- communicating any potential changes effectively to key stakeholders (scenario planning)
- supporting planning capability within PMO and across the business
- utilising and maintaining project tools (e.g. MS Projects, Jira)
About you
Applicants for the Programme Planner role will have:
- strong experience using project management tools like MS Projects, Jira or similar
- experience of project planning and/or scheduling for complex projects (preferably in a technology / systems / change project environment)
- strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, preferably with a relevant project management certification (e.g. APM-PMQ, APMG, Prince2)
- excellent communication and stakeholder management / engagement skills
