Permanent Contract | £32,076 to £33,945 per annum (Scale H) | 37 hours per week | Norwich

Norfolk County Council’s Bridges Team are responsible for the management and maintenance of highway structures including highway bridges, footbridges, large culverts and retaining walls.

The bridges team delivers all highway construction design projects within the County Council as part of its Capital Improvement and Structural Maintenance Programme. The Team also deliver developer funded projects, VRS design and scheme delivery, bridge inspections, asset management of the bridge stock and the management of routine bridge maintenance work. Typical works cover all aspects of highway design and construction and bridge inspection and maintenance.

This role is working within the maintenance team carrying out Routine, Monitoring, Special and acceptance inspections of highway structures, VRS condition Inspection, audits and works ordering, supervising works and working with our contractor to deliver the maintenance program.
