Job description

Do you enjoy providing excellent customer service and working in a fast-paced office environment? If so, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a programmes and Administration Assistant in the Lifelong Learning department at the University of Kent. You will join a busy team, providing support for administrative services across our Lifelong Learning courses and provision, contributing to a positive student experience and ensuring relevant regulations, policies and procedures are adhered to. You will therefore need to keep up to date with changes, work to deadlines and respond flexibly to competing priorities. As Programmes & Administration Assistant you can expect to get involved in: providing administrative support across all courses including student applications, inductions, module material, virtual learning environments (such as Moodle), progression reviews, student support, requests for extensions and so on, examinations, examination boards and various committees updating Lifelong Learning student databases, reporting and CRM (or similar) systems, ensuring the information is current and up to date and complies with GDPR acting as point of contact for students, apprentices, prospective employers, external examiners, collaborative partners, staff and visitors What we are looking for in the right candidate: English and Maths GCSE grade 4/C or above, or equivalent expertise in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint  excellent oral and written communication skills the ability to produce documents to a high standard and to have a good eye for detail What we can offer you: As a member of our team you can expect an open and collaborative working environment and support in your development and wellbeing throughout your time with us.
