Summary

We're looking for a Programming & Partnerships Officer to join our lively and friendly team at Tattershall Castle. We want our community and visitors to have a special connection with Tattershall Castle, through the memories they make whilst visiting, and you can be part of a team that makes that happen.

This is a part time, permanent role. You'll be required to work regular weekends, as well as the occasional evening / night-time shift, to support the delivery of our programming and the wider operations team.

What it's like to work here

Reporting to the Property Operations Manager, you will plan and facilitate exceptional experiences for visitors and our partners, including our wedding couples, through the delivery of accessible and creative programming.

This is a hands-on, creative role, with a need to be flexible, adaptable, and supportive where required with daily operations, to assist in welcoming visitors to our property.

What you'll be doing

You will be involved in planning and delivering on site programming and events for our audiences alongside the Senior Visitor Experience Officer and the wider site team. Working collaboratively, you will also support on planning a calendar of inspiring events and experiences to compliment the site. You will maintain existing partnerships whilst building new relationships with local and wider communities, looking to find creative ways to share the nature, history, and beauty of Tattershall Castle.

You will work alongside the Senior Visitor Experience Officer to manage and further develop the wedding offerings of Tattershall Castle.

You will join a great team and take part in a duty management rota which willinclude weekend workto support the visitor operation. You'll primarily be based at Tattershall Castle, but travel to other properties within the portfolio or region may be also required. You'll also be supervising a team of Volunteers.

Who we're looking for

We'd love to hear from you if you're:

  • experienced in running events and activities, and/or working with community partners
  • familiar with audiences in the areas of heritage, culture, arts and the natural environment
  • used to running small partner-led projects within the heritage and arts sectors
  • able to measure and assess results, and show their impact
  • good at talking and listening to, and getting on with, all kinds of people
  • someone who puts people first, and understands what's needed for everyone to receive great customer service
  • flexible and happy to work with different teams and partners, and to go wherever you're needed to balance the workload of your team
