About the role:

Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading company within environmental services to recruit a Project and Process Engineer for its Gloucestershire EFW site.

The Project and Process Engineer role comes with a salary of �42,000 - �54,000.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will:

* Manage all plant related computing and communications equipment. This will include networks, DCS, PLC; ensuring correct operation, and the records are maintained and managing appropriate levels of access for staff and contractors.
* Ensure that plant is operated within design parameters.
* Oversee management and operations of all plant computing and communications networks, DCS & PLCs
* Adhere to company policies and procedures, including cyber security
* Maintain aspects of the project including costs, timelines, scopes of work and commissioning.
* To oversee the management and operation from a compliance view of High Voltage (HV) network and grid connection.

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

* HNC or equivalent in an electrical/electronic field
* Knowledge and experience of electrical plant including HV switchgear, transformers, motors, generators and variable speed drives etc.
