SalaryWe’re looking for someone with knowledge and experience in project support and management to join our driven Programme and Development Team within Care Services, the in-house provider of care and support services for Adults and individuals living with learning disabilities and autism across Westmorland and Furness.
About the role
This opportunity will focus on providing quality project/programme management and administration.
Working closely with colleagues across Care Services to develop and deliver project / programme objectives through monitoring progress, effective support, co-ordination, planning and control of the project / programme.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Provide effective and professional project / programme support to Senior Responsible Owners (SROs) and project teams on a number of allocated projects / programmes across Care Services.
- Provide support, advice, guidance, and tools, in line with the Councils project/programme management methodology.
- Support the operation of and contribute to the development of the Programme and Development Team.
- Carry out project management within the agreed frameworks.
- Ensure effective and efficient monitoring, tracking and achievement of projects, including responsibility for ensuring that project targets and milestones are achieved on time,
- Identify any potential challenges and or barriers to successful completion of a project, while working with partners to find solutions.
- Establish strong working relationships with all relevant services/teams to support in information sharing and provision of data.
