Project Architect

Currently representing a leading Chartered Architectural Practice based in Wrexham that are seeking an Architect due to an increase in workload. Our client has been established for a number of years and work in a range of sectors from Healthcare, Retail, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure (Hotels) and Residential and ideally wanting an Architect to join the commercial / industrial team.

On a day-to-day basis the Architect will be involved in working closely with the Directors in delivering a range of projects which this practice currently has lined up. The pipeline of work is strong and this practice pride themselves on growing at a rate that matches the workload. Other duties within the role will include leading the detailed designs, communicating regularly with Directors and presenting ideas to the design teams.

The successful Architect will need to be degree qualified and have a real passion for the architectural industry. In regards to the software this practice use, these include; Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUP and Photoshop. The Architect will need to be able to work under pressure and have some experience in managing multiple projects at the same time.

Architect Position Overview

• Assisting the company Directors with the general management of company
• Compliance checks and management of the company 'Quality Management System to ISO 9001'
• Project control and reporting to company directors
• Client liaison and management
• Management of both company resources and Sub-consultants
• Design management responsibilities
• Production of technical information and design team support
• Financial control of projects from inception to completion
• Production of project quality plans
• Site attendance and contract administration
• Advise on Technical changes and advancements in industry
• Carry out delegated responsibilities in the absence of a director

Architect Position Requirements

• Living in or close to the Wrexham area
• Ability to demonstrate strong design and concept skills
• Degree qualified in Architecture and ARB Registered
• Strong understanding of AutoCAD & Revit
• Ability to work under pressure
• Portfolio of drawings / samples of work

Architect Position Remuneration

• Salary: £40k to £50k DOE
• 22 days' holiday to rise by 1 day each full year of employment year to a maximum of 25
• 3% Pension Contribution
• Monday to Thursday- 9.00 am to 5.30 pm & Friday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm
• On site free parking
