Responsibilities - Tender & Project Coordinator
- Working alongside the Specification & Wholesale team, play a lead role in pre-tender and post-tender process.
- Completion of tenders and submission of pricing to the contractor/ wholesaler.
- Manage the quotation register, to ensure the owner follows the quote, log those that we have been successful with, those that we have not and why.
- Liaise and work closely with the purchasing team to ensure they are aware of upcoming projects, requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure continuity of supply to the project.
- Be the intermediary for between the wholesaler, contractor and purchasing team.
- Function as key contact for the wholesaler/ contractor through the project completion.
- Raise new product opportunities with the product management team, to ensure we keep abreast of product developments and market requirements.
- Support Contractor/ Wholesaler with unique requirements, technical support, modifications/ Special finishes etc.
- Support Specification Director with strategic activity i.e., contractor liaison, chasing quotations.
Skills/Experience - Tender & Project Coordinator
- A strong commercial acumen.
- Analytical with thorough and accurate approach to work.
- Computer literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ambitious.
- Able to work as part of a team and independently.
- Able to work flexible and take on new challenges.
- Experience or educate in a relevant business discipline (e.g., Project management, business studies or management).
- Prior experience in a commercial, sales role ideal.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
