We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support a critical Business Transformation programme. The programme is focused on updating business processes and improving system(s), business readiness and adoption as well as data flows (amongst many other benefits).The programme predominately impacts our manufacturing, engineering, and operations functions however, the programme capabilities will impact and benefit every person and function across the business. The programme consists of multiple workstreams and projects and offers a great opportunity to develop your skills and expand business knowledge. This role offers the opportunity to start an exciting Project Management career with us and help to contribute to our mission as we deliver a cornerstone of the UK’s national security.
Location: We are in the Berkshire countryside between Reading and Basingstoke. This role is suitable for hybrid working.
Salary: From £27,550 depending on experience and suitability.

Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:
  • The ability to apply processes to support lower risk tasks within a formal project environment.
  • Skills to undertake crucial tasks to coordinate the activities of project teams to ensure a smooth and successful on time delivery of a complex project with the guidance of a project manager.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
  • Self-motivation and the desire to foster good team morale and spirit to motivate others.
  • Organisational flair and IT skills to be used to assist with the creation of reports, action plans and managing project requests.
  • Attention to detail to assist with the provision of accurate reports and project documentation.
  • Good listening skills enabling requests to be assimilated and converted into action plans.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Pr ovide accurate and relevant project coordination support to the project management team to ensure the project stays on track and is delivered to schedule.
  • Deliver assigned tasks in accordance with requirements of the project with consideration to operational constraints.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in security, environment, safety, health and quality and be a great team player.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating and chasing project related deliverables.
  • Document management.
  • Meeting participation and management.
  • Facilitating project communications.
  • Preparing presentations.
  • Support the Project Manager, undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Undertake associated project management training.
  • Effective multi-task working, identify and manage priorities and work to challenging timescales.

This job role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station) and working from home as a personal choice. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post. The successful candidate is required to carry out all their duties from a UK location and cannot do so from an overseas location at any time.
All candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. It can take several months for clearance to come through.
