Role
The Project Coordinator will join an existing team responsible primarily for the planning and design of HV/LV Modernisation programmes, engaging with both external and internal service partners. Your role will involve design, monitoring and tracking the stewardship network security along with Management policies and meeting customer requirements.
What you will be doing
As the Project co-ordinator your role is to produce designs in accordance with unit or authorised prime costs to enable efficient delivery of outputs in relation to the Low/Medium Voltage Modernisation Programme. Your focus will be to Integrate asset stewardship values through sound engineering principles, coordinated planning, design and ownership to improve integrity, safety, and longevity of the electrical network in line with regulatory outputs.
You'll drive continuous performance improvement through analysis of outputs and feedback from internal and external service partners, while focusing on the agreed scope, volumes, and unit costs to exploit best value from the regulatory contract. Daily you'll lead an exemplary safety culture and ensures that all safety legislation is implemented and delivered through all activities and incorporated into project designs.
What you will bring
We would like to bring your knowledge of design standards of both Low and High Voltage Networks, along with your knowledge of the regulatory environment including relevant output and incentive mechanisms.
Your commercial awareness will support your ability to balance customer service, efficient network design, manage engineering and financial judgement providing solutions while driving maximum return on Low Voltage modernisation investment.
An understanding of operating systems such as SAP and Excel.
Minimum Requirements
Either a crafts qualification, apprenticeship, S/NVQ, or equivalent experience
Experience in a project delivery role or network design role
Relevant network construction and operational experience
Computer literacy
