  • GBP24,000 - GBP27,000 pro rata

Our client is a design and manufacturing specialist with over 60 years' experience in the shopfitting industry. They are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join their vibrant, friendly team and cover maternity leave. You will be working within the Sales Team and responsible for supporting the team in delivering projects. You will work closely with the production team to bring to life creative visualisations.

This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded, privately owned business within a niche and profitable industry; working in manufacturing and project-based shop-fitting and interior fit-out.

This company is well known for an ongoing investment in their staff, continuous training and unrivalled levels of retention. This advert is for maternity cover, but due to recent growth, could be extended to become a full-time role at the end of the 9 months.

About the Role:

You will join as a Project Coordinator, providing key support to the whole team in delivering exciting and varied projects. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales team to deliver projects, having involvement throughout the project lifecycle
  • Report and manage system data to maintain project momentum and schedule
  • Plan installation resources
  • Prepare delivery, access and installation documentation, including Health & Safety and RAMS
  • Assist sales team with tender submissions
  • Coordinate project delivery and installation liaising with technical, production, fitting team and account managers
  • Understanding of logistics to ensure deliveries run smoothly
  • Ability to research materials and work tasks to collate and analyse quotes
  • Autonomy to prioritise your own workload, in tandem with company project programmes
  • Time management and planning workload

About You:

This role would suit an organised, confident person, ideally with a background in the shopfitting industry. In this fast-paced industry, you will flex your skills in delivering both fit-out and joinery projects for a wide range of clients including retail, museum & heritage and leisure & experiences.

Your ability to work independently is key and the successful candidate will be someone who can work well and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

  • Good IT skills, proficient use of Microsoft programmes
  • Proficient ERP system user (ideally Microsoft NAV Dynamics)
  • Organised with high attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
