About the role:
Post-doctoral researcher for the UKRI Arts and Humanities Research Council funded project "Britain's Last Roman Hoards: Wealth, Power and Culture in the Fifth Century." This is a collaborative project between the University of Kent, The British Museum and Newcastle University. It reassesses coins and artefacts from these latest Roman hoards (held in museums around Britain), with the potential to transform our understanding of the transition from the late Roman to early Medieval period. The researcher will be a key contributor to the project, involved in research, publication and other exciting outputs including public engagement.
