My client is a large consultancy who provide critical support across a variety of sectors including defence, infrastructure and transport.
They are currently looking for a Solution Delivery Consultant to help with the delivery of a critical task within a traffic management programme. Ideally you will have strong experience in delivering infrastructure or application projects and a strong understanding of infrastructure or application fundamentals to assist with dependency mapping and strategy.
Working patterns: Expectation is fortnightly presence in office, and monthly at one of the 7 regional operations centres around the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of solution resilience activities from definition through to implementation.
- Report against deliverables ensuring effective planning and controls are in place.
- Contribute to the identification and delivery of efficiencies and dependencies.
- Evaluate supplier performance.
- Identify solution resilience enhancements.
- Identify areas for improvement.
Skills & experience
- Previous experience delivering application, infrastructure or integration enhancement projects.
- Experience with dependency mapping and strategy planning.
- Able to create a clear plan of action from a wide range of activities.
- Experience proactively managing risks and issues.
- Experience with project planning and managing project resources and budgets.
