Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) has an exciting opportunity available for a Project Delivery Manager to join our team in Maidstone. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £53,480 - £61,028per annum depending upon experience.

Being a Project Delivery Manager:
As a Project Delivery Manager, you will be managing a team of Project Managers and Business Analysts; ensuring that a broad range of business and technical projects are delivered to time, cost and quality. You will mentor and coach team members to continuously improve Project Delivery and develop project and business analyst standards to create a centre of excellence.
Working alongside the Portfolio Manager, you'll inform portfolio prioritisation decisions and provide support to project sponsors on how to resolve project issues and implement effective risk mitigation.
What you'll do:
- Managing a team of Business Analysts and Project Managers
- Implementing standard project management methodologies including PRINCE2 and Agile
- Supporting a diverse portfolio of complex technical and business projects
- Defining, implementing and evolving robust project standards and associated reporting
- Working with the Portfolio Office in relation to resource allocation and project prioritisation
What you'll bring:
- Significant experience of delivering a wide range of complex projects over a number of years
- Experience of managing and embedding business change, considering the processes, people, culture and technology
- Experience of managing a team and continually improving business functions
- Experience of working collaboratively at all levels in the delivery of projects
- In-depth knowledge of project life cycles and structured project methodologies including PRINCE2 and Agile
- Knowledge and the ability to apply best practice in all aspects of project management with focus on outcomes and benefits realisation
