We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to support the management and execution of projects throughout the full project life cycle from initiation to closeout. The projects will include a diverse mix of capital and expense projects on Process, Utilities and Automation/IT (AIT) systems. The successful candidate will have frequent exposure to senior management as they execute projects that shape overall strategy and transform the site into a best-in-class Biopharmaceutical facility
- Lead and co-ordinate critical UK Process Equipment delivery into UK, delivery to site, installation hook up and service connection on site, start up and handover
- Lead and co-ordinate off site activities at Stevenage warehouse including equipment modification, sign off, pre-commissioning
- Working closely with the UK Process Engineer, interface with equipment suppliers, SISK fit out & CQV team, Automation team, UK Operations and Maintenance team
- Reporting into the PM Team (possibly via IPS/Sisk)
- Degree in a relevant science/engineering discipline
- Junior to intermediate level Project Engineer/ Project Manager with experience in managing cross functional teams, delivering complex Manufacturing Facility and processing projects, in a highly automated GMP production environment
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage and execute projects from initiation to completion
- Full project lifecycle experience from end to end design through to C&Q and handover
- Understands project management process; programming, scope development, design development, implementation and project closeout
- Excellent communication / organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation from project teams to site leadership team
- Execution/adherence – demonstrated record of on time delivery
- Demonstrable record of delivering right first time handover of documentation.
- Ability to work with end user on developing operating procedures, maintenance & calibration plans,
- Strong understanding of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Experience using SAP and budgeting tools
