Project Engineer

My client are looking to add a Project Engineer to their growing team. Working within a manufacturing environment, creating manufacturing solutions for their components and sub-assemblies, you will work within the engineering to who are responsible for design-for-manufacture, prototyping, process development, qualification approvals and preparation for full production.
Role:
• Development of projects from receipt of purchase order through release to production.
• Assess the technical and commercial requirements of enquiries.
• Lead New Product Introduction process.
• Assist in the management, maintenance, and development of customer accounts.
• Preparation of quotations.
• Preparation of project documentation including: PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow.
• Lead process validation activities.
• Support customer enquiries.
• Administer the customer system files.
• Processing of customer orders including works order creation.
• Additional activities as required.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Degree in Engineering or any associated discipline
Desirable:
• The Project Engineer would benefit from a good technical background.
• The role involves direct interaction with customers, sub-contractors and internal resources,
so comfort in those situations is important
