Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret customer requirements and translate them into actionable directives for the project team.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with company standards and customer specifications.
- Review technical drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Develop project-specific testing procedures and manuals.
- Verify bills of materials in accordance with project requirements.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and address technical issues as they arise.
- Conduct internal inspection and testing of project-related systems and equipment.
- Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customer representatives.
- Perform site commissioning tasks as required.
- Ensure adherence to technical specifications and industry standards.
- Monitor and respond to technical inquiries from customers via email.
Essential
- HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in a project-driven environment.
- Background as a test engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in electrical testing and technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and project teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Proactive approach and logical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with PLC systems and HMI systems/IoT.
- Knowledge of cable and protection equipment sizing.
- Familiarity with power distribution systems and Hazardous area requirements.
- Understanding of national and international quality engineering standards.
