We are seeking a dynamic Project Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of scientific instrumentation. As a Project Engineer, you will spearhead multidisciplinary projects and ensure the delivery of top-tier scientific products. Key Responsibilities of the Project Engineer:

• Understand and address client requirements through effective communication.
• Develop precise functional specifications for project clarity.
• Review designs for technical compliance and manufacturing feasibility.
• Conduct thorough calculations and analysis to support design decisions.
• Define test specifications and participate in factory verifications.
• Manage projects for schedule, cost, and quality adherence.
• Work closely with design and operations teams for seamless project execution.
• Manage changes to project scope and timelines effectively.
• Provide leadership during the project build phase.

Required Skills/Attributes of the Project Engineer:

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer
• Project management experience with strong leadership skills.
• Proficiency in design, analysis, and budget management.
• Knowledge of drawing standards and ISO 9001 Quality Standards.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.

Desirable Skills of the Project Engineer:

• Mechanical engineering knowledge relevant to beamline products.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and CAD software.
• Experience with project management tools and UHV design principles.
• Understanding of electrical design and control systems.
