Job description

Berneslai Homes has an exciting opportunity for three Project Liaison Officer's to join their team based in Barnsley. You will join us on either a full time, permanent basis or fixed term contract, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £26,421 to £28,770 per annum.

The Project Liaison Officer role:
We have three exciting opportunities for Project Liaison Officer’s to join us where you'll assist?with the co-ordination and production of investment and regeneration projects, including identification, development, and implementation of projects to benefit the public sector stock.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Project Liaison Officer:
Provide an on-site presence as required preventing and / or resolving customer problems.
Ensure effective and timely communication with customers throughout the course of every project including comprehensive tenant induction prior to major works.
Consult with residents and local members on an individual and collective basis at all stages of project development and delivery.
Work closely and build working relationships with officers from other departments, contractors, and agencies to assist the smooth running of investment and regeneration schemes
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, have responsibility for the delivery of schemes, initiatives and programmes ensuring project timetables, budgets and briefs are adhered to.
Prepare and present reports to senior officers, members and partners as required.
Assist in creating and maintaining an accessible information system relating to all projects and programmes within the responsibility of the Investment and Regeneration Team.
What we’re looking for in our Project Liaison Officer:
4 GCSEs A-C Grade or equivalent qualifications
Demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to team working
Ability to accurately prepare and present information concisely and clearly
An understanding and commitment to working safely within the workplace
Demonstrate a positive attitude towards your own development
Commitment to the delivery of an excellent customer focused service, and experience of working in a customer focused environment dealing with the public
