We're on the lookout for a Project Manager to join our dynamic Project Delivery team within NHS SBS. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal part in driving forward our transformation programme and making a tangible impact on NHS SBS.
You'll collaborate closely with our partners, keeping them fully engaged and be the driving force behind ensuring everyone stays on track. You will have complete and continuing awareness of the project plan, key milestones, progress to date and plans to completion.

There will be occasional travel to Leeds for team meetings (around 5-6 times a year)
What you'll be doing:
- Own and deliver the projects, programmes, work-packages, ensuring that it conforms to project/programme management governance standards, and time, cost, and quality specifications.
- Provide effective client engagement and partner management by actively representing the project team to the client an /or suppliers, ensuring that relationships are built and maintained inside the client organisation and by ensuring that effective and agreed project governance processes are implemented.
- Establishing and maintaining effective project controls, including the management of risks, issues and change, raising awareness of risks ensuring cost-effective and prompt resolution of issues.
- Maintaining a clear understanding of, and regularly reporting, project progress, plans, dependencies, risk and status clearly and accurately.
- Support the formal closure of projects and the completion of project, early life support and lessons learned reviews.
What you’ll bring:
- Recent and proven experience of project management with a track record of delivering to required standards.
- Experience of handling hybrid development teams, including offshore, dedicated staff, seconded staff, client staff and contractors. Experience of a full project lifecycle, including transition to live service.
- Current Project Management Certification (APM, PRINCE 2 Practitioner or equivalent)
- Public Sector experience
