Nothing comes easy, right?! Well, this Project Manager job is true to the saying however, the trade-off is that you'll be the go-to person and Project Manager for two of the biggest brands right now.
Don't get me wrong, they are lovely but challenging. They needed the work done yesterday, and have the highest of expectations. It probably has something to do with being a Global name within the Sports industry which is ever-moving and agile! As an experienced Project Manager though, you'll be used to this and it's all about setting expectations and managing them early on right?!
As demanding as the client is, you'll not find any more exciting projects or campaigns to manage. It will really get the creative juices flowing and the sense of achievement you will get from seeing the work done will be second to none.
You'll be safe in the knowledge that you will be joining an incredible business. I've recruited in this space for the last 13 years and they would be one of a handful that I would go and work for myself, in a heartbeat. With amazing longevity, a slick workflow, some of the greatest tech and systems to make your life and job easier, and an incredible culture of togetherness and value, it really is a force to be reckoned with.
The business is actually Multiple Award Winners. Awards they didn't have to pay to be recognised with either ??. Held in the highest of esteem by their clients, peers and suppliers, you really will be part of a business that expects and is expected to produce the highest quality of service, support and attention.
So what will you be doing?
Well as an experienced Project Manager, you don't need me to list 12 bullet points. You already know what to do on a day-to-day basis so instead, I want you to know the type of projects you'll be managing... Think Experiential Events, Exhibitions, Graphics, Large Format Print and Signage through to immersive events and AI.
The clients you will be managing are based North London. The organisation you will be working for is based in Cambridgeshire / Northamptonshire border. You will be expected to be on site as well as building internal relationships too so travel (sometimes unsociable) is required for this role. It's definitely hybrid and the business knows that in Project Management sometimes you're working weird and wonderful hours to deliver the most amazing experiences for your customers.
So, if you're an experienced Project Manager or Account Manager who has a track record of working with big brands but tight timescales and huge expectations, then this one is for you. It would be amazing if you can show us the brands you've worked with are within the sporting world too, as that how you will hit the ground running. Quicker, faster stronger which is good for you, your customer and my client (your new employer) I promise, the reward and fulfillment you will get from being part of this team will be second to none.
If you're reading this and you don't have a CV then don't worry. Happy to chat with you no matter what your stage of looking for a new role. I've worked with this business for 10 years, I know them so well so can tell you everything you need and want to know.
Don't be shy, get in touch.
