Project Manager

We have a number of opportunities for both Electrical and Mechanical Project Managers to join a growing team in Slough.

As a Project Manager, you will professionally oversee and manage the day to day management of projects, ensuring they delivered on time, to budget, and exceed the expectation of the Client.

The projects range in value and are based in the Slough area. The role will be predominately site based, with some travel to Head Office required.

Responsibiltiy

• Lead team meetings to engage, motivate, and improve performance.
• Report aspects of the project to Clients, Directors, and any other relevant stakeholder.
• Liaise with Technical Services to ensure the delivery of Design / Working Drawings capture any additional cost, programme delay, or external influence that may affect production.
• Delegate activities within the GBL Project Team, while still managing to build strong working relationships.
• Management of the Procurement Process.
• Promote and drive health and safety.
• Manage installation and commissioning activities.
• Handover documentation.
• Managing and controlling sub-contractors.
• Cost control, while liaising with project surveyor to produce monthly PFR reports.
• Quality control.
• Risk control (programme and commercial).
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, while promoting and demonstrating Gratte Brothers values.

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous Project Management experience
• Demonstrable experience carrying packages from Technical Submittal to Commissioning stages
• Must have Data Centre experience
• Be prepared to work on site 5 days a week

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics.
• HNC / HND or a B Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• CSCS card holder.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office (desirable).
• Circa 5 years of project engineering experience (desirable).
• Use of ASTA for programming (desirable).
