Join my client’s exciting team as a Project Manager, where you'll take the helm in ensuring the seamless transition of projects from sales to customer satisfaction. You'll oversee a dedicated team of three, guiding them to deliver on-time, quality products within budget and to the delight of their customers.
Responsibilities include:
Sales: Collaborate closely with our sales team to ensure a smooth transition of projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness through our 'why meetings'.
Customer: Act as the primary point of contact for project queries and progress updates, managing lead times, materials, and delivery schedules.
Suppliers: Oversee material procurement within budget, coordinating with suppliers and managing purchase orders for seamless supply chain activity.
Production Management: Liaise with operations to allocate production capacity, ensure prototype quality, and maintain project schedules.
Logistics: Monitor supply chain logistics to ensure timely delivery and oversee project progress to meet milestones.
Staff: Lead and motivate your team, setting clear objectives and providing guidance to ensure adherence to policies and standards.
General Responsibilities: Collaborate across departments to ensure project completion, maintain project plans, and report progress to stakeholders.
Essential qualifications and skills:
Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2) and prior experience in retail/manufacturing/Production desirable
Proficiency in project planning, resource management, change management, and budgeting.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate others.
Experience in a diverse team environment with a results-oriented mindset.
