Due to the technical nature of this role, a Fire & Security background is essential. Whilst this role is mainly based at their Leeds office, you will be required to visit customer sites and check the quality and progress of installations.
Main duties to include:
- Liaise with clients, end users and the installation team to ensure works are completed on time and to a high standard
- Manage costs and ensure correct margins are maintained
- Liaise with subcontractors, including appointment of new contractors where required
- Day to day management of subcontractors and commissioning teams
- Visit sites to assess progress and quality of work
- Issue payment notices and invoices
- Attend final meetings with potential clients, advising of any perceived challenges or additional costs
- Completion and issue of all project certification
- Experience of working within a Project Manager role
- Experience and knowledge of fire & security systems
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Someone who is organised and can work to deadlines
- Experience of project management software and tools
- Full UK driving licence
