Who are a major Midlands based Steel Erection company that have expanded and progressed the business into long term contracts for larger sized installations than they have traditionally, supplying all types and sizes of structures for the agricultural, commercial, industrial, leisure and local authority sectors.
The Role:
- We are looking for an experienced cladding Project Manager to join our busy structural steel construction company.
- Get involved in projects at tender stage - reviewing enquires to assess cladding requirements.
- Communicate with cladding suppliers to get prices/costs. Organise and order/book materials and labour as required.
- Plan and book in deliveries of cladding to suit project programme and book in installation teams to suit project programme.
- Oversee and sign off cladding installation but will provide advice and assist with solving of any issues that may arise around the cladding package through the project.
Project Manager / Cladding Coordinator requirements:
You should have sound knowledge of cladding.
Experience running or coordinating cladding projects is essential.
Experience estimating/pricing cladding is advantageous but training can be provided.
Be organised and have good planning skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Be proactive and willing to undertake varied duties within the role.
