Our client has been established for over 70 years and boasts a headcount north of 1,000 professionals offering a variety of services including project management, cost management, building surveying and planning to their clients across the built environment.

About the role

As a Project Manager, you will be working within a smaller team within the wider project management division in Birmingham. Your team will consist of 10 Project Managers ranging from an associate director (team leader), three senior Project Managers and the rest made up of graduates, assistants, and Project Managers.

With this role you will gain exposure to some great projects! You will be involved with a £30m advanced manufacturing project, lead projects within a programme of works for a university and/or lead larger elements of a re-development of a football stadium.  

Requirements

• BSc in project management, building surveying or construction management is beneficial
• MRICS via project management or building surveying is ideal but, at minimum, at least working towards your APC
• Experience within the built environment ideally with a multi-disciplinary/construction consultancy
• Track record of delivering smaller projects (£200k+) or elements of larger projects (£10m+)
• Commutable distance to Birmingham
