We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Kier Transportation team based at our Oxford Rail Station project.

What will your responsibilities be?
As a Project Manager, you'll be working within the Kier Transportation team, supporting them on our Oxford Station Phase 2 project which is a truly multi-discipline station upgrade which will increase the station capacity by constructing an additional platform and associated track through the existing operational station.
To facilitate these works we will be replacing an existing railway bridge, constructing two additional new railway bridges, a highway bridge and a footbridge. Highway lowering and realignment will take place to two roads in the vicinity of the station.
As part of the new platform construction, we will undertake demolition and enabling works, construction a new platform canopy, a new western station entrance, ticket office, waiting room, toilets, café and shops, alongside the construction of a subway to connect the western entrance to the new platform.
Your day to day will include:
- Take full ownership and accountability for cost management of your project, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs, and forecasts through commercial awareness.
- Ensure all labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
- Identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
- Create a programme to plan and measure the day-to-day activities.
- Drive the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier and Network Rail standards.
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager is great for you if:
- Chartered Member of the ICE (or working towards).
- Proven capability working on Network Rail projects, or in a comparable setting.
- Able to take the lead with client interfaces.
- Able to establish project requirements and drive the team to deliver the outcomes in terms of quality, cost and programme.
