We are recruiting a Project Manager Energy and Decarbonisation at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Caerphilly Homes Net Zero Team
We pay an attractive salary of £44,428 - £47,420 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
If you have a passion for decarbonising existing housing stock and retrofit we need to hear from you. The primary task is delivery of a number of retrofit projects from inception to completion, in line with WHQS23 including reporting, budget forecast, and stakeholder engagement. You will liaise with homeowners, landlords, assessors, designers, installation managers and contractors, to ensure successful project management.
For the role, we ask that you have:
• Knowledge of building retrofit/ energy efficiency measures, standards and best practice
• A Relevant Level 5 technical qualification, For example: HND, as well as Relevant Retrofit Assessor and Retrofit Coordinator Qualifications
• Excellent work ethic, good communication skills, and a dynamic approach to the role as well as the ability to lead by example
• A full UK category B driving licence and access to the use of a vehicle insured for business use
