A highly sought-after opportunity to work with a well-established shop fitting company based out of Hull who have been trading for nearly 3 decades. Due to the amount of work recently won and new projects being taken on, my client has identified the need for a new Project Manager.

The successful candidate must have proven experience working on Food Retail projects.

You will be responsible for 3-5 jobs at any one time although not will be on site some will be in tender stages.

Projects could range for £30k - £1m although the average project will be £500k.

You will be experienced to work on projects Nationwide and so would be expected to travel although there is flexibility in your working locations including home working as well as site and office.

If you have experience working on food retail projects this would be preferred but is not essential.

The Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage all elements of fast-track fit-out projects.
• Collaborate with clients, designers, and subcontractors to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including schedules and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
• Provide regular project updates to clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Ensure timely completion of project milestones and final delivery.

The Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a fit-out environment
• CSCS Card
• SMSTS
• Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
