About the role:
Astute’s Renewables team is partnering exclusively with an innovative company in the decarbonisation space and specifically, to decarbonise the UK’s heavy duty road transport. They’re looking to pioneer a network of sole hydrogen fuelling and require an experienced Project Manager to help them achieve this.

This Hydrogen MobilityProject Manager will come with a salary and package commensurate to experience and will be discussed upon application

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the MD you will:

* Assist the business in leading, monitoring and delivering innovative Hydrogen Mobility projects
* Manage the day to day project delivery of transport infrastructure projects
* Liaise with all relevant parties, including OEMs, regulators and both internal and external stakeholders
* Assist the Managing Director with the development of strategies and business plans
* Support business development activity when engaging with logistics companies
* Generate a great working and personal relationship with hydrogen refuelling station developers
* Speak with parents companies on available assets and gas supply
* Stay up to speed with Hydrogen Mobility projects throughout the UK and have a keen interest in maintaining up to date knowledge
* Full job spec available on request

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

* Degree in a relevant field, ie Energy, Engineering or Sustainability

* At least 5 years in a Project Manager position
* Experience or qualifications like PRINCE2 or equivalent
* Experience in delivering similar, complex projects ideally in the energy, process industries, or construction sector
* UK driving licence is essential
* Knowledge or hydrogen infrastructure or FCEV is a huge advantage

Personal skills:
The Project Manager role would suit someone who is:

* A self-starter
* Someone who has a genuine passion for making a positive change in green energy
* Brilliant with communication and gaining buy-in
* Very organised, diligent and who has experience with risk management
